#26 One Cup at a Time

I forgot to take photos.

Viv moved here from Sydney five or six years ago. Another thing that happened to a lot of us is that people moved away. Her friends left the city (Washington DC) during the height of the pandemic and now she is looking for new people to meet.

It's so hard to make new friends as an adult. When we are kids it's easy, people are around you everywhere and you don't need to think that much. Basically whoever is your neighbor is your bestest buddy.

Now we have to go out in the world. We have to be purposeful and actively look for your tribe. And it can be very hard for some.

How can you make this easier? In the world of social media and swiping right or left... where do you go?

I'm happy MeetUp has given me the platform for this experiment of mine.
